The team here at Stainlesstoekick.com is very excited to announce the rollout of our newest product, Brass Toe Kick, available in a Matte Gold Finish. Matching with current design trends and the return of the popularity of golden hues of architectural metals, this new toe kick has an updated look and still maintains the same durability and long-lasting beauty of the rest of our toe kick products.

Solid brass is a luxury architectural metal, used historically in places like town halls, commercial installations, and as musical instruments. Now growing in popularity in residential spaces, it has a warm glow and will match golden details on appliances, hardware, faucets, and other accents. Brass itself is an alloy of Zinc and Copper, and the specific alloy used in our Brass Toe Kick is C280, which means it is lighter color of gold. That alloy is the most common brass to be used in products like appliances, hardware, and faucets, so these toe kicks are likely to coordinate with your other brass home accents.

Brass, left uncoated, would patina to a darker hue over time, but the matte finish of these toe kicks adds a protective layer that resists the oxidation process that causes brass to darken and at the same time it also makes the toe-kicks fingerprint-resistant. These toe kicks are so eye-catching customers coming through our shop stop and compliment each new batch of stainless toe kicks as they’re completed.

Here’s a photo of the base of our reception desk at the office of Stainlesstoekick.com, where we updated the toe kick with our Brass Toe Kick. This is a great example of a hairline seam, which is the alternative to using the corner angles, but took us a little time to get it installed exactly right. But we think it came out pretty well in the end! We’ll see if our next visitors agree.

As you can see, the Brass Toe Kick has a light grained finish, which runs parallel with the length in the same way as our Stainless Toe Kick in a Grained Finish. The Matte finish is still reflective, but light reflects in a way that is more diffused than the reflection from the stainless toe kick, giving the toe kick a softer glow.
